| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In MARCH, we met on Fridays, the 3rd and the 17th at 07:30 PM. "Ricky & Ronnie's Cruise-In Diner" in Torrance was one of the locations. Our MARCH ride was on March 04, 2006 through the Angeles Crest Highway to Lake Hughes, Lake Isabel, Castaic Lake and Palmdale. A bonus March ride was done on Sunday, March 26, 2006 when we went along the San Gabriel River and ended up on Mount Baldy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In APRIL, we met on Friday, April 7th at the "Red Robin" at 07:30 PM in Garden Grove and went for a "Night-Ride" through Orange County and Long Beach. A bonus APRIL ride was to the "California Poppy Reserve" in Lancaster on April 15, 2006. The Poppies were not blooming due to the unsual weather conditions. Our scheduled April ride was to the "Circle X Ranch" in Malibu up in the Santa Monica Mtns. This ride happened on April 23, 2006. Another bonus ride... Saturday, April 29, 2006, "Ortega Hwy & the Airshow" at March ARB. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In MAY, we met on Friday, May 5th at "Chili's" at 07:30 PM in Manhattan Beach and went for a short Night-Ride to one of our member's home in South Bay. We also met, on Friday, May 19th at "California Pizza Kitchen" in Torrance for dinner and went on a Night-Ride through Palos Verdes. Our scheduled May ride was the "Solvang-Ojai Ride", a 3-day ride on Memorial Day weekend. This ride was scheduled from May 27 through 29, 2006. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In JUNE, we met on the 2nd and the 16th for the usual "chat-n-chow" at "Ruby's" in Redondo Beach. We went to BIG BEAR LAKE on June 3rd, 2006, which coincided with Big Bear Choppers' "Run the Mountain" event. We also did a JULIAN RUN on Saturday, June 17th, where we visited waterfalls and streams a few miles south of the town. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In July, we met on the 7th and 21st at "Ruby's" at 07:30 PM in Redondo Beach and went for a short Night-Ride through Palos Verdes. We explored the Santa Monica Mountain on July 22nd through its many side roads and twisties. We also plan on joining in on the San Diego City Ride as posted on Burgman USA.
